ES&H Advisor for NG Powerline Project

About the role

The Environmental, Safety & Health (ES&H) Advisor will support the NG Powerline – Ar Rjum gold project, overseeing the implementation of ES&H management programs, systems and processes across the mining, processing and infrastructure facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate ES&H disciplines to implement Bechtel’s ES&H program and Management System, ensuring compliance with corporate standards, regulatory requirements and contractual commitments.
• Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining safety, health and environmental programs, procedures and controls for employees, communities and the environment.
• Maintain ES&H databases, including incident events, audit findings and corrective actions.
• Perform statistical analysis of ES&H data to identify trends, root causes and continuous‑improvement opportunities.
• Identify and manage specialized software tools and electronic innovations used by ES&H personnel.
• Lead risk‑assessment studies, mitigation planning and stakeholder engagement activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in environmental, safety and health management within large‑scale mining or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of applicable Saudi Arabian ES&H regulations and international best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
