Estimation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Estimation Engineer to develop accurate cost estimates, budgets and tender submissions for construction and infrastructure projects. The role blends technical engineering knowledge with commercial insight to ensure competitive pricing throughout the tendering process.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets and bills of quantities from drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Perform quantity take‑offs and price materials, labour and equipment.
• Analyse tender documents, scope of work and contractual requirements.
• Develop cost breakdown structures and pricing strategies in coordination with engineering and commercial teams.
• Review supplier and subcontractor quotations and integrate them into final estimates.
• Prepare tender submissions, clarifications and post‑tender evaluations.
• Support value‑engineering and cost‑optimisation initiatives.
• Assist in cash‑flow forecasts and project budget preparation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in estimation for construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical, numerical and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
