Estimator Quantity Surveyor

About the role

The Estimator Quantity Surveyor will lead the preparation of pre‑contract cost estimates, cost plans and benchmarking for large‑scale infrastructure projects. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will develop Bills of Quantities, support procurement strategies and ensure alignment between design intent and cost objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare pre‑contract cost estimates, cost plans and benchmarking for infrastructure projects.
• Develop and manage Bills of Quantities (BoQs) and pre‑tender estimates using CESSM and industry standards.
• Support procurement strategy development, including packaging, tendering and contract formation.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to align cost objectives with design intent.
• Prepare and review tender documentation, pricing schedules and contract conditions.
• Conduct market analysis and engage with the supply chain to inform cost data and procurement planning.
• Assist in risk and value management, commercial risk analysis and cost control functions.
• Represent the company at commercial meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in the Middle East.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Proven technical writing ability in English.
• Experience in pre‑contract quantity surveying for infrastructure and civil engineering projects, preferably with major international events.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment.
