EV Charging Technical Lead – Saudi Arabia

About the role

The EV Charging Technical Lead will manage Al-Futtaim's EV charging infrastructure (home and flash charging) across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Senior Manager – EV Charging, the role ensures every charger in the Charge2Moov network is installed, commissioned and maintained to OEM and regulatory standards, directly influencing network uptime and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve customer complaints on AC home chargers and DC public chargers.
• Perform on‑site diagnostics, fault rectification and corrective maintenance within SLA windows.
• Execute software upgrades, firmware patches and configuration management on charger hardware.
• Carry out Level‑1 maintenance and structured fault diagnosis on DC fast‑chargers following OEM guidelines.
• Support commissioning, functional testing and issue technical sign‑off after verification.
• Conduct site surveys and technical readiness assessments prior to installations.
• Coordinate with SE‑certified contractors to plan, schedule and supervise AC and DC charger installations.
• Monitor installations for compliance with electrical safety standards (SASO/SE) and MOMRAH regulations.
• Review contractor workmanship and raise corrective actions as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical/electronic systems for EV charging infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi regulatory bodies (SE, SASO, MOMRAH) and safety standards.
• Hands‑on field experience with both AC and DC charger hardware.
• Ability to manage contractors and coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
