Excellence Director

About the role

The Excellence Director provides senior‑level management, strategic and supervisory oversight for quality, continuous improvement, risk, training and knowledge transfer activities across a major program. This role drives the development and implementation of quality systems and ensures compliance with customer and Parsons excellence requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Parsons Quality Management System, developing processes, procedures, data collection, reporting and training.
• Maintain and advance Parsons Excellence‑related certifications and interface with senior executives on performance improvement.
• Direct and facilitate continuous improvement of the program Quality Management System and culture of quality.
• Provide leadership, guidance and training to Parsons and client personnel, monitoring performance and identifying skill gaps.
• Act as liaison with programs, customers, contractors and internal departments on quality matters and staffing.
• Identify and report excellence issues or trends to executive management and contribute to organization performance metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or related field) from an accredited university.
• Minimum 20 years of experience overseeing project controls, safety, risk management, contracts, procurement, financial management, quality assurance and quality control on large infrastructure projects, preferably in the Middle East/KSA.
• Proven supervisory or management experience (10+ years) and experience working internationally.
• Professional Engineer registration or chartered status preferred.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of ISO 9000, ASME, ANSI, ASTM quality standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience implementing Quality Management Systems and conducting quality and risk training.
• Ability to analyze business situations, ROI and cost per unit.
