Executive Director – Construction & Development

About the role

We are looking for a senior executive to lead our construction and development portfolio, overseeing landmark high‑rise, hospitality and mixed‑use projects from pre‑construction through handover. The role demands strategic vision, operational excellence and the ability to manage large multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and set strategic direction for large‑scale construction and development programmes.
• Direct planning, execution and delivery of high‑rise towers, luxury hotels, resorts and mixed‑use complexes.
• Take overall responsibility for portfolio performance – cost, schedule, quality, safety and client satisfaction.
• Oversee Project Directors, Senior Project Managers, Construction Managers and technical specialists.
• Establish execution strategies, governance frameworks and risk‑mitigation plans.
• Manage relationships with clients, investors, consultants, architects, contractors and government authorities.
• Approve budgets, master schedules, procurement strategies and resource plans.
• Lead contract administration, commercial management, variations, claims and dispute resolution.
• Ensure compliance with international construction standards, regulatory approvals and HSE requirements.
• Champion QA/QC, sustainability initiatives and support business development activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 20 years of experience in construction, with a proven record of delivering iconic high‑rise, hospitality and mega‑scale projects.
• Extensive experience leading executive‑level project delivery and multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and large budgets.
• Strong commercial acumen and risk‑management expertise.
