Executive Housekeeping & Laundry Manager

About the role

SSCL is seeking an experienced professional to lead both the Housekeeping and Laundry departments in a hotel environment. The role combines strategic management of housekeeping operations with oversight of laundry services, ensuring high standards, cost efficiency and compliance with hotel policies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans for housekeeping and laundry, monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage departmental budgets, control costs and optimise resource utilisation across both functions.
• Lead workforce planning, recruitment, training and performance evaluations for housekeeping and laundry teams.
• Establish and enforce SOPs, quality standards, hygiene and safety regulations, and ensure compliance with hotel requirements.
• Prepare regular management reports and coordinate with senior management and other departments to support business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing large housekeeping and laundry operations in a hotel or similar hospitality setting.
• Strong leadership and team‑development skills with the ability to drive performance.
• Excellent analytical and reporting abilities, capable of managing budgets and controlling costs.
