Expert Lead – Saudi Arabia

About the role

Haleon is seeking an Expert Lead to drive the growth of its Expert business in Saudi Arabia. The role will shape and execute a robust go‑to‑market model, leveraging digital tools and strengthening relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and pharmacists to increase brand recommendation and sales.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Saudi Expert strategy to boost sales in health‑care institutions, tenders, and HCP/pharmacist advocacy.
• Allocate budget and resources across detailing, sampling, scientific meetings, conferences, medical education, digital activations and omnichannel engagement.
• Lead medical detailing strategy, including field force sizing, geographic deployment, targeting, coverage, call quality and productivity.
• Translate global and regional expert practices into Saudi‑specific operating plans while ensuring compliance with local regulations and Haleon governance.
• Coach, develop and manage the Expert team, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, performance management and capability building.
• Collaborate with HR to design reward, recognition and learning plans for the team.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading expert or medical detailing functions within the pharmaceutical or consumer health sector.
• Strong understanding of Saudi healthcare market dynamics, regulatory environment and tender processes.
• Demonstrated ability to build and motivate high‑performing teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with HCPs, pharmacists and internal partners.
