External Account Manager

About the role

Brenntag Saudi Arabia is seeking a proactive External Account Manager for its Beauty & Care department. You will be responsible for driving sales of raw material chemicals across the cosmetics, personal care and cleaning product segments while ensuring customer satisfaction and margin growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a growth‑ and margin‑oriented sales strategy for the cosmetics, personal care and cleaning markets.
• Identify new potential customers, set pricing, and define sales tactics.
• Promote new raw‑material offerings aligned with customer projects and emerging market trends.
• Monitor market conditions, competitor pricing, and new product launches.
• Track customer payment schedules, resolve payment issues, and maintain financial health of accounts.
• Coordinate with suppliers on technical promotions, new launches, and relay information to internal teams and customers.
• Attend supplier training, technical seminars, global and local fairs, webinars and teleconferences.
• Provide quarterly supplier reports on customer feedback, project pipelines, and monthly sales performance.
• Deliver competitive intelligence and market potential insights to the business.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field from a reputable university.
• 3–6 years of proven experience in raw‑material chemicals sales within the personal care, cosmetics or cleaning industries.
• Fluent English with strong numerical and sales analysis abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long‑lasting customer relationships.
• Commercially driven mindset with a results‑focused approach to account management.
• Willingness to travel throughout Saudi Arabia; the role is based in Jeddah.
