External Audit Manager / Senior Manager – Financial Services (Riyadh)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager / Senior Manager to lead a portfolio of iconic financial services clients in Riyadh. You will be responsible for the full audit cycle, delivering high‑quality assurance services while collaborating with a team of problem‑solvers to address complex business challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end audit process for assigned clients, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with standards.
• Maintain day‑to‑day client liaison, addressing technical issues and fostering strong relationships.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities with existing and new clients.
• Develop and implement strategies to solve complex technical audit challenges.
• Lead large‑scale audit projects, coordinating resources and meeting critical deadlines.
• Design audit strategies and oversee execution in alignment with engagement leadership.
• Advise clients on financial reporting and regulatory developments, staying current through seminars and training.
• Present audit findings to boards of directors and audit committees.
• Ensure adherence to risk, quality, and independence requirements.

Required profile

• Significant experience in external audit, preferably within the financial services sector.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships at senior management level.
• Demonstrated track record in business development and client acquisition.
• Strong technical acumen with the capacity to mentor and develop junior team members.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of regulatory changes affecting financial reporting.
