Facility Engineer I

About the role

Tarshid, the National Energy Services Company of Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Facility Engineer I to support the installation, repair, and maintenance of its facilities. The role involves coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring safety compliance, and assisting plant engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance schedules and follow‑up to minimize downtime.
• Prepare and manage maintenance cost analysis relative to Asset Replacement Value.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
• Conduct facility inspections and report conditions affecting operations.
• Generate weekly management reports.
• Create and oversee maintenance requests in the ERP system.
• Upload project assets into the ERP system.
• Report and resolve potential hazards promptly.
• Assist with planning and implementing equipment maintenance programs.
• Provide technical support for installation, startup, repair, training, and modification of power transmission equipment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Professional proficiency in English and Arabic.
• Effective communication skills in a multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Electrical engineering principles and practices.
• Knowledge of major mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Experience with ERP systems for maintenance management.
• Maintenance scheduling and asset tracking.
• Facility inspection and hazard reporting.
• Project management (PMP certification preferred).
• Power transmission installation and troubleshooting.
