Faculty Member – Interior Design (Assistant/Associate/Professor)

About the role

We are seeking qualified and motivated academic professionals to join the College of Architecture and Design at Alasala Colleges in Dammam for the upcoming academic year. The position is open at the ranks of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor in interior design and related specializations.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in interior design, graphic design, product design, or related subjects.
• Conduct scientific research and publish findings in reputable journals.
• Provide academic advising and support to students.
• Participate in curriculum development, academic committees, and accreditation activities.
• Supervise graduation projects, lab‑based learning, and design studio work.

Required profile

• PhD degree in interior design or a related discipline from an accredited university.
• Strong English language proficiency (spoken and written).
• Previous university teaching experience.

Required skills

• Demonstrated research and publication record.
• Familiarity with NCAAA standards and academic quality‑assurance processes (preferred).
• Effective communication, presentation, and academic leadership abilities.
• Experience with design studios, laboratories, and engineering/software tools (advantageous).
