Field Engineer – Liner Hanger

About the role

CCL Global is looking for a Field Engineer with experience in liner hanger operations to join its Al Khobar team. The role involves on‑site work at wellsites, both on‑shore and offshore, supporting the execution of complex well completion projects.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in wellsite operations and mentor junior staff according to company standards.
• Handle, maintain, install and dismantle field equipment, including rigging up and down.
• Assist in planning operations, estimating job requirements and preparing related paperwork.
• Conduct training and performance evaluations for FE2, FE3 and FET personnel.
• Lead on‑site maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety and quality policies.
• Report near‑misses, accidents, incidents and mechanical failures to QHSE and SDM.
• Schedule and lead safety reviews, and hold post‑job meetings with clients when required.
• Communicate effectively with clients and rig personnel, recommending improvements to methods and performance.

Required profile

• Vocational, associate or university degree in Engineering, Geology, Mechanics, Electronics or related field.
• Fluent English.
• Training in Oil & Gas Industry Basics, WCS FE Basic course and QHSE.
• Experience with well design and planning, reservoir engineering and complex well completion operations.
