Field HSE Trainer

About the role

The Field HSE Trainer will deliver and coordinate health, safety and environmental training across rig locations, supporting HP's global safety strategy. You will act as a coach on‑site, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and fostering a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate structured HSE, safety and regulatory training programs in line with corporate objectives.
• Review, update and maintain training content to meet current regulations and internal standards.
• Provide field‑based coaching and reinforce safety policies, procedures and Life‑Saving Rules.
• Maintain the HSE training matrix with a minimum 98% compliance rate.
• Record attendance, completion and competency data in Workday.
• Plan, develop and execute training programs to promote risk awareness and safe behaviours.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and ensure quality standards are met.
• Develop targeted HSE campaigns and learning materials.
• Manage the Mobile Training Unit, scheduling and utilization in field locations.
• Coordinate third‑party training providers and assess training needs with HSE, Operations and Management teams.

Required profile

• NEBOSH IGC certification and Train‑the‑Trainer qualification.
• At least one month of relevant experience in HSE training or coaching.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian safety regulations and HP standards.
• Ability to record and analyse training data accurately.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
