Field Sales Agent – Northern Region

About the role

We are looking for a self‑motivated Field Sales Agent to join Herotel’s Commercial team in the Northern Region. You will be responsible for prospecting, engaging and converting new customers to our broadband, LTE and wireless internet services while managing the full sales cycle from first contact to activation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach and sell to new and existing customers, including upselling and cross‑selling where appropriate.
• Develop and continuously refine a personal sales strategy and target housing estates, complexes and business parks.
• Maintain a healthy, qualified pipeline of leads at every stage of the funnel.
• Gather and report market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing and customer sentiment.
• Submit accurate weekly activity reports and keep CRM records up‑to‑date daily.
• Follow up diligently with warm and unconverted leads within agreed timeframes.
• Ensure a smooth handover to installation and after‑sales teams.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport for field work.
• 1‑2 years proven outbound sales experience with a target‑driven mindset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build rapport quickly.
• Fluency in English and relevant local languages.
• High personal integrity and ability to work independently.
• Experience selling broadband fibre, LTE or wireless internet products is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to learn and use CRM systems.
