Field Service Engineer – Compressor Systems

About the role

Atlas Copco is expanding its compressor service business in Saudi Arabia and is looking for five Field Service Engineers to strengthen market coverage. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality, timely service to customers, ensuring reliable machine performance and building strong relationships with the local client base.

Key responsibilities

• Perform machine repair, preventive maintenance and overhauls on compressors, dryers and related equipment.
• Commission new compressors and compressed‑air systems, and manage compressor management systems.
• Conduct routine inspections in line with manufacturer schedules and document operating parameters.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures, determine root causes and execute corrective repairs.
• Record all service activities using company‑provided hardware and software.

Required profile

• Engineering diploma (electrical, instrumentation, refrigeration, mechanical) or recognized diploma in refrigeration, hydraulics or pneumatic technology.
• Positive, outgoing team player with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to travel across the region for service calls.

Required skills

• Minimum 2 years hands‑on experience with piston, screw, centrifugal, single‑stage and multi‑stage compressors.
• Proven ability to carry out preventive maintenance and repairs on air compressors, dryers, gas generators and ancillary equipment.
• Good understanding of electrical ladder‑logic diagrams and main motor controls.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities.
