Field Service Engineer

About the role

John Crane is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join its Yanbu team. The role focuses on delivering expert technical support for mechanical seals and rotating equipment, ensuring reliable operation for our energy and process industry customers.

Key responsibilities

• Visit customer sites to install, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical seals and related rotating equipment.
• Prepare detailed seal observation reports with analysis and recommendations.
• Perform on‑site and workshop repairs with high precision.
• Assist end users during shutdowns, commissioning, and project execution.
• Support refurbishment contracts and conduct site measurements and surveys.
• Collaborate with local teams, agents, and stakeholders to ensure optimal product performance.
• Promote the company’s market presence, identify new opportunities, and build strong relationships with end users.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• More than 5 years of hands‑on engineering and field‑service experience, especially with mechanical seals and refinery rotating equipment.
• Proven ability to work effectively in multinational, multicultural environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of John Crane products or the ability to quickly acquire deep product expertise.
