Field Service Representative – Conventional Maintenance (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

The Field Service Representative (FSR) provides conventional maintenance support for Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) associated equipment across designated sites in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Working as the sole in‑country resource, the FSR ensures tactical vehicles, generators, and material handling equipment remain operational and ready for mission requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy tactical wheeled vehicles (HEMTT family), trailers, battery support equipment, and material handling equipment.
• Maintain and service power generation systems, including HDT DRASH generators and 5 kW HEMTT‑mounted generators.
• Execute scheduled semi‑annual and annual services, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and fault isolation across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Repair or replace components such as starters, alternators, fuel system parts, belts, filters, and electrical assemblies.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and adjustments to verify equipment serviceability.
• Document maintenance actions in accordance with OEM Technical Manuals, Technical Bulletins, and FMS program requirements.
• Coordinate maintenance priorities with supported units and work flexible hours to sustain readiness.

Required profile

• Training equivalent to 91B Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic or comparable military/commercial certification.
• 8–15 years of experience maintaining tactical or commercial heavy equipment.
• Demonstrated experience with diesel engines, powertrain, hydraulic and electrical systems, and preventive maintenance checks (PMCS).
• Ability to work independently in field or OCONUS environments.
• Preferred: prior THAAD or similar defense system support, familiarity with HEMTT platforms, and experience in Saudi Arabia or comparable operational settings.
