Field Technician – Oil & Gas Pipeline Inspection

About the role

PIPECARE Group is seeking a motivated Field Technician to support pipeline integrity projects across Saudi Arabia. You will work on in‑line inspection (ILI) campaigns, ensuring safe and accurate data collection for our oil and gas clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, sign and submit pigging, daily and express reports.
• Coordinate equipment and tool requirements, including AGM’s, DGPS, magnets, launching trays and spares.
• Study project documents, operation manuals and pigging procedures.
• Establish professional contacts with client field personnel.
• Execute field work safely following PipeCare QA/QC procedures and project timelines.
• Perform ILI runs without data loss according to POF & API standards.
• Conduct cleaning runs meeting PipeCare criteria.
• Carry out site surveys and DGPs in line with procedures.
• Collaborate with PipeCare team, subcontractors and clients to coordinate activities.
• Complete additional tasks assigned by the Team Leader.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in the oil and gas sector, preferably with ILI exposure.
• Professional level of English.
• Ability to travel extensively, including international trips.
• Flexibility to work varied hours based on project needs.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb and perform climbing/walking tasks.
