Filling Shift Operator – Industrial Gases

About the role

We are looking for a Filling Shift Operator to join our industrial gas production team in Jeddah. The role involves inspecting, preparing and filling gas cylinders according to strict safety and quality procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform visual inspection of cylinders, apply stickers, tags and valve seals, and record hydro‑test dates and working pressures.
• Fill cylinders following standard operating procedures, operate manifolds, open/close valves, monitor temperature and control product quantity using pressure gauges and weighing balances.
• Enter cylinder data into tags, manage rejected cylinders, and maintain daily equipment and safety checklists.
• Conduct routine checks on weighing balances, vacuum pumps, oil levels, leaks, pipes, adapters, valves and gauges; coordinate repairs, calibration and maintenance with the support team.
• Handle raw material issuance, cylinder preparation, conditioning and housekeeping of the production area.
• Document production logs, homogenize gases and hand over samples to Quality Control.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in a process plant or similar industrial environment.
• Technical degree related to engineering or gas handling.
• Proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Production planning and basic maintenance knowledge.
• Operation of specific gas‑filling machinery and safety handling of gases.
• Use of pressure gauges, weighing balances and equipment calibration.
• Basic computer/software tools for data entry and log keeping.
