Finance Analyst, Operations Finance

About the role

Amazon Middle East is expanding its finance function in Riyadh and is looking for a Finance Analyst to support Operations Finance. The role will help build robust processes, drive controllership and identify cost‑reduction opportunities across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with operation business leaders in Saudi Arabia to provide financial advice, support, and drive process improvements.
• Maintain and enhance monthly financial reporting, ensuring strong financial controls and accurate communication of financial impacts.
• Lead the core financial processes, including Annual Operating Plans, Long‑Term Plans, and monthly/quarterly business reviews.
• Analyse cost structures, identify operating improvements and evaluate business development opportunities.
• Act as a key finance stakeholder in cross‑functional projects to support rapid business growth.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of finance experience and 2 years applying financial KPIs to analysis.
• Experience building financial and operational reports that inform decision‑making.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis abilities.
• Experience participating in continuous‑improvement projects with measurable results.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (macros, index, conditional lists, arrays, pivots, lookups).
• TM1.
• Data Warehouse concepts.
• SQL.
