Finance Consultant - Tax

About the role

Our client, a leading multinational corporation, is seeking an immediate Finance Consultant with deep VAT expertise for operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role will focus on VAT compliance, tax reporting and supporting cross‑functional finance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice on input and output VAT, as well as withholding tax regulations.
• Interpret and apply accounting and tax compliance requirements across banking and finance processes.
• Develop Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and map end‑to‑end processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate tax treatment in loan, trade finance and treasury transactions.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Accounting, Finance or Information Systems.
• 8+ years of experience in banking, accounting, finance, indirect tax or ERP implementations.
• Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, ACCA or CIMA are a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with VAT systems in GCC countries.

Required skills

• VAT systems (input/output VAT, withholding tax).
• Oracle Financials or similar accounting platforms.
• Transaction systems for loans, trade finance and treasury.
• ERP system knowledge.
