Finance Manager (AI Startup)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to build and lead a world‑class finance function for a fast‑growing AI startup. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape financial strategy, support fundraising, and act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end finance operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management, and financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain financial models to guide strategic planning and business decisions.
• Lead financial planning processes and deliver regular insights to the CEO and leadership.
• Support fundraising by preparing investor materials, financial models, due‑diligence documentation, and forecasts.
• Manage investor reporting and respond to financial inquiries from current and prospective investors.
• Build scalable financial processes, controls, and reporting systems to sustain rapid growth.
• Monitor performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives, operational planning, acquisitions, and partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in finance, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a high‑growth startup or scaling company.
• Proven track record supporting fundraising, investor relations, or capital‑raising activities.
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, or strategic finance is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus.
