Finance Manager

About the role

The organization, a respected player in the social sector, is looking for a Finance Manager to lead its financial strategy and ensure sustainable operations. This senior position will guide financial planning, reporting and governance while supporting the mission-driven objectives of the entity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the long‑term financial strategy and planning for the organization.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, allocate resources and monitor expenditures.
• Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to senior leadership for strategic decision‑making.
• Establish and maintain internal controls, governance frameworks and financial policies.
• Monitor cash flow, financial performance and risk exposure.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior leadership and governance committees.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance and accounting team to drive high performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration (Master’s/MBA preferred).
• Professional certification such as CPA, CMA or ACCA is advantageous.
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including financial planning, management and governance.
• Proven ability to lead finance teams and partner with senior leadership on strategic decisions.
• Experience in regulated or mission‑driven environments is highly desirable.
