Finance Trainee – Billing and Receivables

About the role

GE Healthcare is looking for a Finance Trainee in Riyadh to gain foundational experience in financial operations, supporting the finance team in key areas such as billing and cash operations. The role suits someone who wants a broad understanding of finance within a global healthcare technology company.

Key responsibilities

• Support the preparation, processing and tracking of customer invoices.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve billing issues, missing information and invoice discrepancies.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and support follow-up on overdue receivables.
• Assist with cash collection and maintain collection trackers.
• Help allocate and reconcile customer payments against outstanding invoices, and investigate unapplied cash and payment discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate billing and collection records and supporting documentation.
• Prepare basic reports on billing status, overdue receivables, collections and cash performance.
• Work with Finance, Commercial and Operations teams to support timely issue resolution.
• Support month-end activities related to billing, receivables and cash as required.
• Identify opportunities to simplify trackers, reporting and routine finance processes.

Required profile

• Recent graduate in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Hands-on exposure to the order-to-cash cycle, including billing, accounts receivable, cash collection, reconciliation, reporting and cross-functional finance operations.
• Willingness to learn finance systems and develop practical experience in billing, receivables and cash management.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with financial data.
• Good communication and follow-up skills.
• Organized, proactive and able to work across different teams.
