About the role

The Head of Financial Excellence leads the Financial Excellence division, ensuring accurate, reliable and compliant financial operations across three airports. This senior role combines financial control, risk management and strategic planning to support the organisation's long‑term objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive financial control strategies and methodologies.
• Ensure strict adherence to accounting standards, regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Conduct regular financial audits and reviews to verify data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Identify, assess and mitigate financial risks through robust controls and processes.
• Optimize financial processes and workflows by integrating advanced technologies and best practices.
• Monitor and analyse performance metrics, provide insights and oversee timely preparation of financial statements for the three airports.
• Implement process improvements to reduce costs and enhance productivity.
• Lead, mentor and develop the Financial Excellence team, setting performance goals and providing feedback.
• Oversee Controllership and Project Accounting teams, ensuring alignment with divisional objectives.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic financial plans.
• Participate in corporate strategy formulation, providing financial insights for decision‑making.
• Communicate financial performance, risks and opportunities to executive leadership and the Board.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in finance or accounting.
• Strong understanding of financial control, audit and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage financial risk and implement effective controls.
• Strategic thinker with experience shaping financial plans aligned with business goals.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder and board interaction.
