Financial Planning Manager

About the role

The Financial Planning Manager will support strategic financial decision‑making by assessing options, developing annual operating plans and forecasts, and monitoring capital expenditures. The role ensures accurate reporting of profit & loss, balance sheet and provides insights that drive business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Support and recommend financial and operational assessment of strategic options to ensure sound financial decision‑making.
• Develop Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and forecast accurately, proactively providing opportunities and risks to management.
• Monitor, control and seek approval of all Capex in line with company policy.
• Review A&M expenses to ensure integrity and policy compliance.
• Prepare management reports with analysis of P/L and B/S within set timeframes.
• Evaluate ad‑hoc business proposals, implement BPT and develop business tools to enhance organizational capability.
• Prepare and present economic model competition analysis and monitor market trends.
• Maintain Mega Plant monthly projections and update according to contracts and agreements.
• Prepare monthly management dashboards and ensure accuracy for senior management.
• Compile and review monthly NR reporting, meet deadlines and provide variance analysis insights.
• Prepare monthly management book reporting and meet deadlines.
• Manage payments for Mega Plant contracts.
