Fire Technician – Onsite Fire Fighting & Alarm Systems

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Fire Technician to join our team in Saudi Arabia, covering the Jubail and Yanbu industrial sites. The role focuses on the inspection, testing, preventive and corrective maintenance of firefighting equipment, fire alarm systems, and gas detection devices, ensuring compliance with NFPA standards and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and functional tests of all onsite firefighting equipment, fire alarm panels, smoke detectors, and gas detection systems.
• Record inspection results, recommend improvements, and carry out preventive maintenance such as lubrication, cleaning, and part replacement.
• Troubleshoot and perform corrective maintenance on faulty fire alarm or gas detection components to restore full operational status.
• Install, commission, and calibrate new firefighting and alarm equipment according to project specifications.
• Prepare detailed reports on system performance and corrective actions taken.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, foremen, and project teams to meet deadlines and maintain workflow.
• Communicate system status and maintenance requirements clearly to clients.

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience installing and maintaining fire alarm and gas detection systems.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and local fire safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, manuals, and wiring diagrams.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
