Fleet Incharge – Saudi Nationals

About the role

The Fleet Incharge will lead daily fleet operations, ensuring optimal vehicle utilization, timely deliveries, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This position oversees a large driver team and coordinates with maintenance and logistics functions to keep the fleet running efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily deployment and scheduling of heavy vehicles, assigning transport requests based on location, cargo type, driver availability, and working hours.
• Optimize routing to reduce empty kilometers and monitor real‑time fleet movements using GPS systems such as Wialon, Geotab, and WhatsGPS.
• Handle operational disruptions, including breakdowns, delays, road closures, and checkpoint issues.
• Monitor fuel consumption via the FLS fuel monitoring system, analyze data for efficiency, and control transportation costs.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, track tire performance, oil changes, and other service requirements.
• Supervise driver rosters, shift schedules, leave plans, and evaluate performance using KPIs.
• Conduct driver inductions and training on company policies, safety practices, eco‑driving, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure all fleet documentation (registrations, insurance, MVPI certificates, operating cards, driver licences) remains valid.
• Generate transport documentation through the Naql Platform and monitor cargo manifests via the Bayan System.
• Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports covering utilization, fuel efficiency, on‑time delivery, maintenance performance, and cost analysis.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fleet operations or logistics management.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret operational data and drive cost‑saving initiatives.
• Excellent leadership abilities to manage a large team of drivers.
• Knowledge of Saudi transportation regulations and HSE standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GPS tracking systems: Wialon, Geotab, WhatsGPS.
• Experience using fuel monitoring tools such as FLS.
• Familiarity with fleet management platforms: Naql Platform, Bayan System.
