Food & Beverage Server

About the role

The Food & Beverage Server will join the service team at Raffles Makkah Palace, delivering attentive and professional service to guests in a luxury hotel setting. Reporting to the Outlet Supervisor, the role involves interacting with guests, handling orders, and ensuring a seamless dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, acknowledge VIP arrivals, and present menus, including children’s and special items.
• Accurately describe menu items, garnishes, and preparation methods when requested.
• Take orders, serve food and beverages, and clear tables in an unobtrusive manner.
• Operate the POS system to ring up sales, print and close checks, and perform cash‑out procedures.
• Maintain a clean, orderly dining area, reset tables, polish silverware, and replenish condiments.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, resolve issues promptly, and report resolutions to management.
• Follow cash and credit‑card handling guidelines, safety, sanitation, and hygiene policies.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, and support other F&B outlets during peak periods.

Required profile

• Average proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Professional appearance and grooming at all times.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and efficiently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with problem‑resolution ability.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage products.
• Team player with attention to detail and good interpersonal skills.
