Foreman - Scaffolder

About the role

Fisher HR is recruiting a full-time Scaffolding Foreman in Riyadh. The post leads and supervises a team of scaffolders and labourers on site, planning and overseeing the safe erection, modification and dismantling of scaffolding in line with drawings, specifications and design requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and coordinate a team of scaffolders and labourers on site.
• Plan and oversee the safe erection, modification and dismantling of scaffolding according to drawings, specifications and design requirements.
• Adjust scaffold configurations as the building progresses (lifts, tie-ins, loading bays, edge protection).
• Coordinate with the site manager, engineers and other trades (concrete, steel, façade, MEP, etc.) to plan scaffold access around the construction sequence.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks, pre-task briefings and site safety inspections.
• Inspect scaffolds regularly and after adverse weather, tag and hand over completed scaffolds.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, company procedures and client requirements.
• Manage materials, tools and equipment, including stock control and requesting supplies.
• Allocate daily work, monitor progress and ensure deadlines are met.
• Train and mentor junior scaffolders and apprentices.
• Report incidents, near misses and hazards promptly, and keep accurate site records and timesheets.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in scaffolding works.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Scaffolding Foreman/Supervisor.
• Experience in scaffolding erection, modification, inspection and dismantling.
• Experience in the construction or industrial sector.
• Good communication and team supervision skills.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of scaffolding safety and work-at-height practices.
• Relevant scaffolding certification is preferred.
