Forging Shop Manager

About the role

Tuwaiq Casting & Forging is seeking an experienced and results‑driven Forging Shop Manager to lead the effective management and optimisation of all forging processes, ensuring operational excellence, efficiency, innovation and quality in forged products, aligned with the company’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Translate divisional strategy into operational plans with clear, measurable goals.
• Oversee day‑to‑day forging activities to meet quality, cost and delivery targets.
• Collaborate with Technical and Engineering teams to improve processes using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Manage safety strategies, ensuring compliance with HSSE regulations and fostering a strong safety culture.
• Prepare unit reports and maintain stakeholder relationships to support business objectives.
• Implement rigorous quality control measures in partnership with the Quality department.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and maintain contingency plans for equipment or material disruptions.
• Lead talent development, training programmes and continuous skill development for the forging team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science or related field.
• Minimum 10 years forging shop experience, including at least 4 years in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership, communication and results‑oriented mindset.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian health, safety and environmental regulations for forging operations.
