Freelance Art Director for Large-Scale Projects

About the role

BONAFIDE, a leading Saudi creative production company, is looking for a highly creative Freelance Art Director to steer visual direction on large‑scale, high‑profile projects in Riyadh for a 3‑to‑5‑month engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the overall creative and visual direction for large‑scale events, exhibitions, cultural programs, sports and national occasions.
• Develop and oversee visual concepts, themes and design guidelines that align with brand identity.
• Collaborate closely with designers, 3D artists, producers and other creative teams.
• Translate creative briefs into compelling visual storytelling.
• Supervise design and production work, providing feedback to ensure high‑quality execution.
• Maintain project timelines and ensure timely delivery of milestones.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Art Director or senior creative role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating visual storytelling and creative direction.
• Experience in large‑scale events, cultural programs, sports or ceremonial productions is highly preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Based in or willing to work in Riyadh for the project duration.

Required skills

• Proficiency in design tools and creative software.
