Freight Operations Supervisor – Warehouse & Freight

About the role

DHL Global Forwarding is seeking a Freight Operations Supervisor to manage warehouse and freight handling activities at its Dammam facility. The role blends team supervision, inventory management and operational coordination within a high‑volume logistics network.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate warehouse and manual‑handling plans to ensure safe, efficient operations and monitor inbound/outbound shipments against service timings.
• Coach and guide the warehouse team, manage daily work schedules, resolve conflicts and align delivery schedules with shippers and customers.
• Plan and schedule inventory, conduct daily and weekly cycle counts, analyse stock turnover and verify material movement against production schedules.
• Execute safety, security and inventory‑control programs to protect goods and equipment.
• Inspect incoming materials for conformity, enforce safety and security protocols across all warehouse activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics supervision.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and cycle‑counting processes.
• Proven ability to coach and lead a warehouse team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Conflict‑resolution and stakeholder coordination capabilities.
• Analytical mindset for stock turnover and material‑scheduling analysis.
