Front End Maintainer – Equipment Maintenance

About the role

The Front End Maintainer is responsible for keeping the initial production equipment running smoothly. You will ensure safety, maintain product quality, and minimise downtime on machines that process raw materials, form containers, and seal closures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of front‑end equipment and verify condition over the previous 24 hours.
• Troubleshoot and restore equipment to standard operating condition.
• Carry out periodic maintenance tasks (monthly, annual and major overhauls).
• Control spare‑parts usage to reduce maintenance costs.
• Improve machine productivity by minimising unplanned downtime.
• Maintain and enhance product quality through reliable equipment performance.

Required profile

• Technical diploma.
• At least 5 years of experience with aluminum‑can making presses or similar equipment.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues.
• Capability to read and interpret technical drawings (DWG).
• Hands‑on experience with body‑maker machines, trimmers and cuppers.
• Solid knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
