Front Office Duty Manager

About the role

The Duty Manager – Front Office will oversee daily front‑office operations at Jumeirah Jabal Omar, ensuring service standards align with the luxury brand’s expectations and delivering a seamless guest experience in the heart of the Holy City.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise front‑office activities, coordinating with housekeeping and concierge to maintain lobby appearance and guest flow.
• Conduct room inspections to verify availability and compliance with operational standards.
• Manage bookings, including handling over‑booking situations and ensuring accurate allocation.
• Lead daily briefings and communication meetings to keep the team informed and aligned.
• Drive departmental cooperation and continuous improvement of service delivery.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of front‑office experience in a luxury 5‑star hotel, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or duty‑manager role.
• Strong leadership, guest‑relations, conflict‑resolution and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent command of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Proven ability to lead multicultural teams and uphold high service standards.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of front‑office operations and hotel management systems.
