Frontend Developer

About the role

EPAM Systems, a global leader in digital platform engineering, is seeking a Frontend Developer to join its Al Khobar office. The role focuses on building responsive, user‑friendly web interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React and Angular.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise user‑facing features with JavaScript, React and/or Angular.
• Create clean, modular, and reusable UI components that follow design guidelines.
• Translate UI/UX prototypes into pixel‑accurate, functional interfaces.
• Integrate frontend components with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Ensure cross‑browser, cross‑device, and cross‑platform compatibility.
• Optimise applications for performance, accessibility and SEO where applicable.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to guarantee code quality.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold high engineering standards.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to clarify requirements and propose technical solutions.
• Contribute to frontend architecture, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Frontend Engineer or Developer.
• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) certificate or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and modern front‑end frameworks (React and/or Angular).
