Fulfillment Lead – Last Mile Fleet Operations

About the role

The Fulfillment Lead will oversee the execution of last‑mile fleet activities, ensuring vehicles and drivers are ready to meet e‑commerce delivery standards. This role coordinates daily operations, monitors performance, and drives continuous improvement for reliable, safe, and on‑time order fulfillment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily fleet execution, managing vehicle readiness and driver allocation.
• Coordinate vehicle deployment and trip schedules with dispatch and fulfillment teams.
• Monitor fleet availability, utilization, and downtime, initiating corrective actions as needed.
• Handle breakdown response and maintenance follow‑up with workshops and service providers.
• Track driver attendance, compliance, and readiness, especially during peak periods.
• Verify accuracy of operational data (trips, incidents, utilization logs) for reliable reporting.
• Communicate updates, constraints, and resolutions to the Last Mile Assistant Manager.
• Support safety procedures, driving standards, and operational guidelines.
• Prepare daily execution summaries and exception reports.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving ability under time pressure.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with dispatch, drivers, and workshops.
• High attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Safety and compliance awareness.
• Leadership experience supervising drivers and managing fleet operations.
