General Accountant – Food & Beverage

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented General Accountant to support our fast‑growing food & beverage operation in Riyadh. The role involves handling daily accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, managing inventory and cost analysis, and ensuring compliance with Saudi tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Monitor inventory movements, perform reconciliations and control food costs.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Process payroll and related employee financial transactions.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, ZATCA and e‑invoicing requirements.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in restaurants, cloud kitchens, catering or food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Professional certifications such as SOCPA, CMA or CPA are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software (Odoo, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP or similar).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of inventory management and food cost control.
