General Accountant – Full‑time (Al Madinah)

About the role

The General Accountant will join Hospitality Standards in Al Madinah to manage the company’s financial records and ensure compliance with local accounting standards. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the finance team in delivering accurate financial information for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements and monthly reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and collections.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare tax filings and support internal and external audits.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Maintain accurate ledger entries and ensure data confidentiality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting and month‑end close.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Prior experience in the hospitality sector is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software.
• Knowledge of Saudi tax regulations and accounting standards.
• Ability to handle payroll processing and bank reconciliations.
