General Assembly Quality Manager

About the role

The General Assembly Quality Manager will lead quality operations across Lucid’s General Assembly manufacturing sites. This high‑visibility position combines cross‑functional leadership, quality system implementation, and hands‑on control‑point management to ensure product excellence and production readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor control points at strategic locations within General Assembly operations.
• Build and lead a high‑performing team focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Define, track and act on Control Point KPIs to drive problem‑solving effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, workstation layouts and ergonomic best practices.
• Create comprehensive training plans for supervisors and inspectors.
• Drive defect containment, escalation and resolution processes, ensuring issues are traced back to their origin.
• Specify and deploy tooling, equipment and inspection systems to meet current and future quality assurance needs.
• Champion safety, quality and operational excellence across the organization.

Required profile

• Proven experience in manufacturing quality management, preferably in automotive or high‑volume production.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building accountable teams.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional partnership abilities.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
