General Manager – Agriculture, Dates & Fruits Farm

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead a large‑scale farm specializing in dates and other fruits in Riyadh. This senior position oversees all aspects of farm operations, driving commercial success and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for all farm activities, aligning with long‑term business goals.
• Manage the full cultivation cycle—from planting and irrigation to pest control, harvesting, and post‑harvest handling.
• Develop and control annual budgets, monitor costs, and ensure profitability.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of managers, specialists, and laborers.
• Maintain high quality standards for produce to meet market and export requirements.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international agricultural, health, and safety regulations.
• Introduce innovative farming technologies, sustainable practices, and modern irrigation techniques.
• Oversee supply‑chain logistics, inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Prepare regular operational and financial performance reports for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Horticulture or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Extensive senior management experience in large‑scale agricultural operations.
• Specialised expertise in date and fruit cultivation.
• Strong financial literacy with proven P&L and budgeting experience.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of the Saudi/GCC agricultural market and regulations.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is a significant advantage.
