General Manager & Business Development Director – Middle East

About the role

The General Manager & Business Development Director will report directly to the Board and lead the company’s expansion across the Middle East. The role focuses on high‑growth sectors such as events, sports, entertainment, and temporary infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Drive commercial expansion by prospecting new clients, originating contracts, managing the sales pipeline, and meeting revenue and EBITDA targets.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with governments, key clients, investors, and local partners to strengthen market positioning.
• Lead and structure the local team and administrative operations, ensuring governance, compliance, and efficient support for business growth.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field with an MBA in Business Management, Projects or Commercial Strategy.
• Proven executive experience in international business development with a track record of commercial growth.
• Prior exposure to the Middle East or other emerging markets.
• Background in large‑scale sporting events, entertainment, modular construction or temporary infrastructure.
• Fluent English (mandatory); Spanish and Arabic are desirable.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally and reside in the Middle East.
