General Manager – Pre‑Opening Hotel Project

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the pre‑opening phase of Sol Qiddiya, a new 290‑room hotel and serviced‑apartment project in Qiddiya, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will shape the hotel’s culture, operations and guest experience from the ground up, targeting an opening in Q2 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the full pre‑opening strategy, ensuring operational, commercial, financial, people and brand milestones are met.
• Recruit, build and mentor a leadership team and hotel staff, fostering a service‑driven culture.
• Oversee the set‑up of all hotel departments – rooms, food & beverage, serviced apartments, entertainment, family facilities, gym and guest services.
• Position the Sol brand within the Qiddiya destination, delivering a vibrant, family‑focused guest experience.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and financial performance to achieve profitability targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a General Manager or senior hotel leader, preferably on pre‑opening projects.
• Strong leadership and people‑development capabilities.
• Deep understanding of full‑service hotel operations and brand standards.
• Excellent commercial and financial acumen.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
