General Manager – Transport & Utilities (Riyadh)

About the role

The General Manager will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for large‑scale transport, airport and utility projects across Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Kuwait. Reporting to senior leadership, the role combines strategic business development with day‑to‑day operational oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute market‑driven strategies to win new contracts in the airport, utility and transport sectors.
• Manage a portfolio of projects with a total value of at least SAR 100 million, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Oversee P&L, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting for the business unit.
• Lead, coach and motivate a team of 20‑30 professionals, setting clear performance goals.
• Maintain strong relationships with the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, Riyadh Municipality and other key public authorities.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in transport, airport or utilities business development.
• Proven track record of managing multiple high‑value projects profitably.
• Strong strategic thinking, market knowledge and execution capability.
• Fluent English; Arabic proficiency is preferred.
