General Mechanic – Luxury Resort (AMAALA)

About the role

Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA is seeking a reliable General Mechanic to join its Engineering & Maintenance team. The mechanic will ensure that all hotel facilities, equipment and building systems operate smoothly, contributing directly to guest comfort and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on guest rooms, back‑of‑house areas and public spaces.
• Diagnose and fix mechanical issues with HVAC units, pumps, engines, kitchen appliances and laundry machinery.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency calls, minimizing downtime.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with other engineering staff to support large‑scale projects and upgrades.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a mechanic in a hotel, resort or similar hospitality environment.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced setting.
• Physical fitness to handle manual tasks and lift heavy equipment.
