Golang Engineer – Remote (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

This position is for a Golang Engineer based in Saudi Arabia, working remotely within a globally distributed engineering organization. You will build and scale high‑performance, secure, and reliable systems that power enterprise, cloud, AI, and IoT ecosystems worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain robust software systems using Go.
• Debug, troubleshoot and resolve production and user‑facing issues in distributed services.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions and technical design with global teams.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external contributors to define specifications and improve systems.
• Enhance engineering workflows, deployment processes and system observability.
• Deploy, monitor and operate services in production when required.
• Provide technical advocacy, documentation and knowledge sharing to support product success.

Required profile

• Strong academic background in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience building production‑grade software in Go, preferably on Linux (Ubuntu/Debian).
• Deep familiarity with Linux system concepts and distributed system architectures.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving ability and ability to deliver high‑quality work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally twice a year for team gatherings.
