Governance Director

About the role

The Governance Director will lead the design and implementation of a robust corporate governance framework that aligns with the organization’s strategic objectives. This senior position is responsible for fostering a culture of compliance, risk awareness, and transparency across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and communicate governance policies and procedures.
• Ensure the authority matrix aligns with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Provide guidance to the Board of Managers and its committees on governance, legal compliance, and fiduciary duties.
• Review internal documents such as procedures, manuals, charters, and processes to ensure alignment with constitutional documents.
• Promote responsibility, accountability, and transparency throughout the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Minimum 9 years of experience in governance, compliance or legal roles.
• Professional certifications such as CCEP, GRC Professional Certification, or CISA are advantageous.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
