H125 B1 Mechanical Training Instructor

About the role

Airbus Helicopters Arabia for Aircraft Maintenance is hiring a fixed-term H125 B1 Mechanical Training Instructor based in Taif, Saudi Arabia. The instructor prepares and delivers training for customers' technicians, covering course development, on-the-job training and the use of maintenance manuals and safety procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Study and analyse customer training regulations
• Develop course training standards, instructional plans and synopses, and basic and advanced specialty courses in line with customer regulations
• Edit and update the master training plan
• Perform on-the-job training (OJT) to customer technicians using pre-developed training aids
• Evaluate the performance of assigned trainees
• Train personnel on the use of maintenance manuals, safety directives and FOD procedures
• Comply with aviation, safety, quality and export control regulations, and Airbus management systems, policies and regulations
• Check tools, GSEs, components and parts for condition and expiry before each training session, and verify that documentation applies correctly
• Determine and perform maintenance requirements for parts, clearances, tolerances, fuel and hydraulic leaks and corrosion damage
• Interpret wiring diagrams and technical publications, record work on the appropriate paperwork and sign off progressively
• Ensure aircraft status, scheduled tasks and deferred items are up to date and the aircraft is serviceable before release to service
• Complete work on time and to quality requirements, and perform other duties as assigned
