Hatchery Planner

About the role

Almarai is seeking a highly organized and proactive Hatchery Planner to support daily hatchery operations and production planning. You will ensure efficient resource utilization, monitor key performance indicators, and uphold biosecurity and quality standards in a fast‑growing poultry environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily hatchery activities to maintain smooth operations.
• Prepare and monitor production plans aligned with business targets.
• Allocate manpower, equipment, materials, and other resources to ensure readiness.
• Track hatchery performance metrics such as hatchability, chick quality, and operational KPIs.
• Enforce compliance with operating procedures, quality standards, and biosecurity protocols.
• Identify and support continuous‑improvement initiatives to boost productivity and chick quality.
• Collaborate with hatchery management and cross‑functional teams to achieve operational goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Poultry Science, Animal Production, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in commercial poultry hatchery operations.
• Hands‑on experience with incubation, hatching, chick processing, vaccination, and hatchery production processes.
• Familiarity with hatchery equipment operation, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.
• Proven ability to conduct production planning, KPI analysis, and drive process improvements.
